With over 2 million subscribers to our YouTube channels, our videos motivate thousands of people to get up and get moving every day. We’ve earned our subscribers’ loyalty and trust by providing them with high-quality content that’s reliable and accessible.
Before we publish a video on YouTube, it undergoes a rigorous quality control process. Our exacting standards earned our German channel a YouTube Health Seal in 2023.
We have three goals for our YouTube channels. These goals were inspired by recommendations from and guidelines followed by national and international health organisations.
Liebscher & Bracht’s YouTube Goals
Our vision is to help everyone live a healthy life free of pain. Liebscher & Bracht’s videos are making this happen. Our videos show people how to and emphasise the importance of regular exercise.
According to The World Health Organization, all kinds of physical activity provide health benefits if done regularly, at the right intensity, and for a long enough period. 1)
The American Chronic Pain Association’s Resource Guide to Chronic Pain Management states that regular exercise (including yoga, which is similar to the Liebscher & Bracht exercises) can relieve symptoms associated with chronic pain, such as pain, stiffness, and inflammation. 2)
Many suffering from pain feel helpless against their condition. Our videos show people how they can help themselves against pain so they can take ownership of their recovery.
According to The World Health Organization and The American Chronic Pain Association, self-treatments boost the self-confidence of those suffering from chronic pain, encourage activity, and positively influence the outcome of their treatment. 3)
The first step toward helping yourself against pain is understanding the cause; this information should be available at no cost.
Our goal is aligned with the World Health Organization, which is working to make access to quality health services as easy as possible, regardless of demographic, economic, or social factors. 4)
YouTube has made it possible for us to provide our videos free of charge. We present our health and exercise information in a simple, straightforward manner that everyone can understand.
Liebscher & Bracht are pain management specialists empowering thousands to help themselves against musculoskeletal discomfort with reliable content. Our content provides expert information about the causes of various conditions and pain-relieving exercises.
Our videos undergo a rigorous review process before publication to ensure our content is of the highest quality.
Liebscher & Bracht’s video reviews include:
Before shooting a video, the subject is selected from a topic list that has been pre-approved by a team of orthopaedic physicians. The same team reviews the finished video before publication.
Each video is checked against a list of guidelines our legal department has drawn up. This review is carried out to ensure consumer protection. Videos are reviewed at random directly by our lawyers.
Before publication, our editorial team reviews each video for accuracy, accessibility, and completeness. Our editors also review video editing, image and audio quality.
Our editorial team reviews each video against a predetermined list of ethical guidelines.
If a video contains a statement backed up by a source, our editors ensure the source is included in the description. If a video features a pain-relieving tool from our product portfolio, our editors check that onscreen text appears to inform the viewer of product placement.
During this phase, an idea for a video is proposed. If the idea aligns with our content principles, a script is written.
The script is medically reviewed by orthopaedic physicians. Next, the script is reviewed by our editor-in-chief for comprehensibility, accessibility, and legal compliance. A legal review may also be carried out at random by a lawyer. Necessary changes are then made to the script.
The script is entered into our backlog. After a script has been selected for production, our editorial team writes a brief. This brief is submitted to our video production team.
After production, the video undergoes a medical and legal review by our editorial team. Next, the video is reviewed by our editor-in-chief. If revisions are necessary, the video is edited accordingly. Parts of the video may be reproduced and re-submitted for review.
When the video has met all of our criteria, it is published on our German YouTube channel. The video is then translated into the respective languages of our international YouTube channels and published. Following publication, the video and its performance are analysed. The findings are used to improve future content development.
We regularly re-evaluate our content and make adjustments to keep it fresh, relevant and accurate.
