Recipe: Osteoarthritis Super Smoothie

If you suffer from osteoarthritis, our pain-free stretching exercises can help you to become pain-free again. But alongside those, you can help strengthen yourself from within with a healthy and balanced diet and support your body’s self-healing processes. Our osteoarthritis smoothie is rich in vitamins and nutrients that are anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving, helping your metabolism to fight the good fight. Here’s the recipe:

What you’ll need:

(For 1 Serving)

Apple

Mango (Juicy & Ripe!)

Green Leaves (Baby Spinach, Kale etc.)

Dates (Seed Removed)

Freshly Ground Flax, Hemp or Chia Seeds 

Lemon

Water or Cold Green Tea

Handful of Fresh Parsley or Coriander

A Pinch of Cinnamon

Step One
Wash and remove the core from the apple. Then, chop into medium-sized cubes.

Step Two
Peel the mango and cut it into pieces. You can also squeeze out any remaining juice from the pulp around the bit — don’t lose out on any vitamin goodness!

Step Three
Wash the green leaves and herbs and dry on a kitchen towel. Chop finely.

* Alongside baby spinach and kale, you can also add rocket, young nettle leaves, mint and whatever else takes your fancy!

Step Four — The Crowning Glory!
Add all the ingredients in the blender (including the dates, seeds, lemon juice, water — or green tea  herbs and spices) and press start!

Blend until smooth, serve and enjoy!
